Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some model year 2022-2026 EDV and RCV vehicles. On these vehicles, the cabin heater may not have been sufficiently sealed to prevent condensation from entering the unit. This condition may result in a reduction of electrical isolation and a corresponding malfunction indicator on the driver display informing the driver that the vehicle requires service. In rare instances, the driver will receive a notification to pull over safely and the vehicle will enter a reduced performance safe-state mode. Rivian will replace the cabin heater, clean the HVAC evaporator, and splice an adapter harness on affected vehicles. The cabin heater was previously replaced on some vehicles. On those vehicles, Rivian will splice the adapter harness to the HVAC harness to improve long­term reliability. Rivian is launching this campaign for customer satisfaction and to ensure the quality of Rivian vehicles.
